F1 Driver Ratings: Great Britain 2018
Sebastian Vettel stopped Lewis Hamilton from making it an incredible weekend for British sport by winning the 2018 British Grand Prix. A poor start from Hamilton and contact with Kimi Raikkonen put him at the back but help from the safety cars helped him recover to second place. Raikkonen battled hard all race to finish third.
Vettel now leads the championship by a massive eight points over Hamilton. It was an amazing event to watch with some of the best battles Formula 1 has seen in a long time.

Sebastian Vettel drove a pefect race to take the highest rating (9.5) even though Mercedes had the better car on Sunday. An excellent start and an amazing battle and overtake with Valtteri Bottas saw Vettel at his best, even with a painful neck.
Romain Grosjean brings up the rear after crashing in practice, nudging his teammate off the track at turn 3 on the first lap and then causing himself and Carlos Sainz to crash at Copse which put them both out of the race. His speed is back but mistakes are still happening too often for a driver who’s in his seventh Formula 1 season.
