IndyCar: Richmond race cancelled as 2020 calendar changes
Just a fortnight from the start if the 2020 IndyCar season at Texas Motor Speedway, the schedule has changed again.
Richmond’s oval race was set to be held on 27 June but that has been cancelled along with the Toronto race, the latter was announced last week.
Due to this, Road America will move its event to the 10-12 July, the vacated Toronto spot and will also become a double-header event. Iowa (July 17-18) and Laguna Seca (September 19-20) are also double-header race weekends.
There will be a third event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on 3 October with the season finale set to be held in St Petersburg on 25 October.
