F1 Driver Ratings: Imola 2020

Daniel Ricciardo made it a second podium of the season, holding on to third place after the late safety car restart.

Daniel Ricciardo proved his value once again with a great weekend at Imola. The midfield was very tight and Ricciardo came out on top in an enthralling battle.
Both of the AlphaTauri drivers were strong too and Pierre Gasly will be gutted to miss out on a big chance of the podium.
Daniil Kvyat nearly made up for it thought with a storming restart and some committed, brave overtakes. It was fantastic to see Kvyat execute those moves after a tough season for the Russian.
George Russell will have nightmares of his accident behind the safety car and how he bounces back will be a true test of his character. It’s not the first time the 2018 F2 champion has made a mistake when vying for points.
Everyone knows about how much talent Russell has, he just needs to iron out these errors when he is in great positions because his one lap pace is outstanding.
