
GT: 2021 Le Mans Entry List Revealed
This week, the 62 car entry list was revealed for the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is postponed until August.
It includes the 33 cars entered into the FIA WEC, plus a number of teams that are utilising their automatic invitations through race victories in 2020 and early 2021.
In the top class, there are five entries this year. Two Gazoo Racing Toyota GR010 Hybrids and two Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG007 LMHs will race in the Hypercar class, with a potential third Glickenhaus yet to be purchased. There will also be one ex-Rebellion R13 LMP1 car, driven by the Signatech Alpine team as the A480 Gibson.
Accompanying the LMP2 WEC grid, there are two further entries for United Autosport, G-Drive Racing, and IDEC Sport entries.
There is also one slot for Duqueine Team, SO24-DIROB by Graff, PR1 Motorsports Mathiesen, Team WRT, High Class Racing, Panis Racing, Racing Team India Eurasia and Risi Competizione, who makes its debut in the class.
There are seven entries for GTE Pro, with two factory Corvette C8.Rs and WeatherTech Racing’s Porsche 911 RSR from IMSA’s GTLM class competing the WEC grid of Porsche and Ferraris.
There are 11 GTE AM entries alongside the WEC grid, including a further Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GTE entry, another TF Sport Aston Martin Vantage, an Absolute Racing Porsche 911 RSR.
Ferrari entries include the Spirit of Race, Kessel Racing, JMW Motorsport, Herberth Motorsport, Inception Racing, as well as a HUB Auto Racing Porsche, a Proton Competition Porsche and a Rinaldi Racing Ferrari.
