BSB: Joe Sheldon-Shaw joins NP Racing BMW for 2022

After appearances in Bennetts British Superbike last season, Sheldon-Shaw has now signed with NP Racing BMW for this season.

The 22-year-old will make his full debut in the British Superbike class this season. In 2021 Sheldon-Shaw competed in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship and was a replacement rider in British Superbikes.

After riding a Kawasaki last year in BSB Sheldon-Shaw has made the switch to BMW to ride the M1000RR.

Sheldon-Shaw said: “I’m very excited to be able to get a full season under my belt in the Superbike class with the NP Racing BMW team. We will be trying our best and take it step by step to make progress throughout the season. I’m so grateful that Neil and all of my family, friends and sponsors have made this possible and I can’t thank each and every one of them enough.”

Team Owner Neil Pearson commented: “I’m excited to be working with Joe for the 2022 season. He will be running under the NP Racing banner and I think will prove to be a huge asset to the team. We are looking forward now to testing, so that we are ready for the opening round at Silverstone.”
