BSB: Paul Bird dies aged 56

Paul Bird has passed away suddenly following a short time in hospital with illness his team have announced in a short statement on Friday afternoon.

An icon in British Motorsport, Paul’s team is the most succesful British motorcycle racing team competing in the British Superbikes Championship and also competed in MotoGP as well as many other diciplines of racing.

Motorsport Radio and Motorsport Media wish to extend our deep sympathy to Paul’s family at this time.
