BSB: Luke Hedger joins CDH Racing Kawasaki in 2024
Luke Hedger will make his British Superbike debut with CDH Racing Kawasaki.
Luke Hedger will line up on the British Superbike grid next season, racing for the CDH Racing Kawasaki team. Hedger joins the Superbike grid after making the step up from the National Superstock Championship.
Luke Hedger had an impressive season in 2023 finishing inside the top 10 in the Superstock standings. His best finish of the season came in the bank holiday weekend at Oulton Park. He finished fourth in the race, after scoring no points in the opening round.
Hedger first raced in the National Superstock 1000 Champion at the end of 2016, finishing in an impressive seventh in the standings. He first moved from the Supersport Championship and now will make the jump to Superbikes.
The 28-year-old joins the CDH Racing Kawasaki team which finished 18th in the 2023 British Superbike standings. Louis Valleley and Jack Scott rode for the CDH Racing team during the season.
Vallely finished 29th in the standings, after joining the team mid-season at Thruxton – making the step from Junior Superstock. Jack Scott finished 25th in the standings, claiming his best finish of 13th at Cadwell Park.

Hedger said: “I’m mega happy to be signing with Dean and CDH Racing for the 2024 season – it will be my first season in the Superbike class and I cannot wait to get started! I know it’s going to be hard but I am ready for the challenge and enjoy every minute of it.
“Thanks again to my sponsor and supporters for giving me this chance and thank you to Dean for this opportunity.”
Team Owner Dean Hipwell added: “We are delighted to announce that we have signed Luke Hedger for the 2024 season. After finishing top Kawasaki in Superstock last year, it’s good progression to join us and ride the CDH Racing Kawasaki in 2024.
“We look forward to welcoming Luke into our team and are very keen to start testing, plus heading over to Spain for round one will be a good experience. I would like to say a huge thank you to the people who continue to support us.”
