BSB: Silverstone Once Again Hosts BSB Pre-Season Test
Following the four day test in Spain, the Bennetts British Superbike Championship will return to the United Kingdom for their one and only test at the Silverstone National Circuit ahead of the season opener on April 10-12th.
Unlike previous years, the test will take place over two consecutive days, with Support classes hitting the circuit on the 1st April, before Superbike, Supersport and the National Superstock 1000cc all take to the circuit on the 2nd April.
Track action kicks off at 9am (1st April) with the Ducati Tri Options Cup and Superstock 600’s taking to the circuit for the opening twenty-minute session, before the all-new MSVR ran British Talent Cup and Junior Supersport round out the day’s action.
Each class will get six twenty-minute sessions, from 09:00 to 12:45 and 13:20 until the end of the day at 17:00.
Full timetables for day one can be found here.
Day two will also kick off at 09:00 with Superstock 1000’s joining the 600cc Supersport and the GP2 machines, before the opening Bennetts British Superbike Championship session at 10:05.
Instead of twenty-minute sessions, the second day will see each session stretched from twenty- minutes to an hour, with BSB riders having four sessions on circuit whilst the Supersport and Superstock riders will have three hours.
The Pre-Season test will once again be free entry to the public, with full paddock access so you can meet the stars of the 2020 BSB season. Day two timetables can be found here.
