A Mass pile-up caused a red flag in the one of the Danish Thundersport Championship support races, A sudden downpour caused a massive pile-up in race 1 of the Danish Citroën DS3 Cup race at Jyllandsringen, A red flag was immediately called but cars still joined the carnage.
The race did not restart.
All drivers involved in the crash were OK, A press release by the championship said:
“Ten drivers were checked and cleared on site, while one driver, Norwegian Thomas Faraas, was taken to hospital for further checks. Later on Saturday, the doctors also gave him the green light. Although bruised, the Norwegian made it back to the paddock to say “hi” on Saturday evening – a big relief for everyone in the paddock. ”
