Moto2: Portimao Test Day Two

The Moto2 riders have finished their second day of testing at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve (Portimao), here’s how the championship contenders and British riders did.

Aron Canet topped the second day of Portimao testing for Flexbox HP40. The switch from the Boscoscuro chassis to the Kalex chassis might be what Canet needs to fight for the Championship.

Pedro Acosta finished his second day of official Moto2 testing in second! The reigning Moto3 Champion looks like he will hit the ground running in Moto2 just like he did in Moto3!

Augusto Fernandez made it a two-three for Red Bull KTM Ajo as he finished the second day of testing in third place.

Jake Dixon puts himself in fourth place for the GasGas Aspar Team, the British rider has started 2022 off well.

American rider, Joe Roberts, finishes the day in fifth place. The Italtrans Racing Team rider will be hoping for a better season than last year.

Ai Ogura continues a strong start to testing as he finishes day two in eighth place for the Idemitsu Honda Team Asia.

Cameron Beaubier is showing promise ahead of this season with the American Racing Team. The 29-year-old finishes testing today in ninth place.

Sam Lowes continues to sit low down in the order at testing as he finishes today in twentieth place.
