MotoGP: Feature: 5 MUST-DO trips whilst at the San Marino GP
Visit Bologna!
Even if you spend two hours in the city centre of Bologna, you will be grasped by this enchanting medieval throwback. With lots on offer and not at ridiculous prices like what are found in Rome, Venice or Milan, Bologna is a gorgeous city with busy, quaint back streets amidst the red-tiled rooftops. Wonder around, experience the Asinelli Towers and pay a small ticket price at the tourist office (bring your passport) for panoramic views of an incredible city with just a few distant skyscrapers in sight.
The main Plaza is also something to behold and whilst maybe not as busy as you’d imagine, it’s offers a sense of escapism from the hustle and bustle that the rest of the city brings. Bologna really is a city where you can wonder around being endlessly dazzled by the charm of the architecture as well as the warm welcome you’ll get from locals. Through the week, there are all kind of street performances taking places near the main plaza and are usually free to enjoy (be careful not to sit near the front, as the performers may ask you to join in too!).
