MotoGP: Gresini Racing reveal Marquez’s 2024 bikes
The long-awaited 2024 Gresini Racing MotoGP bike has been unveiled with a new look for 2024.
The covers have come off the Gresini Racing MotoGP Ducati – the bike which both Marquez brothers will ride this year. It is also the first time that the world has seen Marc Marquez in full Gresini colours. He will join his brother, Alex Marquez, who is entering his second year with the team.
Last season, Alex Marquez finished ninth in the 2023 MotoGP World Championship with Gresini Racing. Marquez won two MotoGP Sprints and claimed two podiums in Sunday’s race.
Marc Marquez has had four tough seasons with injuries and an uncompetitive machine riding the Honda. He had his first taste of the Gresini Ducati at the Valencia test with high expectations. At the end of the first day of testing, Marc Marquez was fourth, setting 49 laps – he was just 0.171 from the top spot.
Alex and Marc Marquez have previously been teammates in 2020 at Repsol Honda for one season.
Take a closer look at the MotoGP machine:
The 2024 machine looks similar to last season, with the light Gresini blue and red colour scheme making a return. There has, however, been a change to both rider’s numbers, with Marc changing to a solid red bold number. Speaking on stage, Alex Marquez said that he was hoping for his brother to enjoy racing again this year.

The Gresini Racing team also unveiled their 2024 Moto2 machines, which I will be riding by Manuel Gonzalez and Albert Arenas. Their MotoE machines were also shown that Matteo Ferrari and Alessio Finello will ride.
