WSBK: Mason Law to debut at Donington Park
British Superbike rookie Mason Law will be back on-track at Donington Park for the 2018 British World Superbike meeting. He is set to continue to gel with his Team WD40 GR Motosport Kawasaki, having already achieved point-scoring finishes this season.
The rider from Essex has shown good signs of progression so far in 2018 and will want to continue that on the world stage, to demonstrate not only his and the team’s capabilities, but the level of competition at British Superbike.
“I’m very excited to be rolling out of pit lane on Friday to commence my World Superbike debut. I’m looking forward to getting back out at a circuit which is one of my favourites and putting in some solid work with my crew,” began Law, looking to gain valuable track time during the large break in the BSB calendar, to accommodate the North West 200 and the Isle of Man TT.
“We’ve made some great progress with both the bike and myself since Round 1 of the BSB championship so it will be good to get back to a circuit I have raced at already at this year,” he continued.
“Myself, the team and our partners are looking forward to having some fun this upcoming weekend which is all about gaining experience listening and learning for me. My bike will be BSB spec and it is solely about getting some competitive miles under my belt before we resume our BSB calendar at Snetterton!”
The Sheffield-based GR Motosport have a colourful history on the world stage, with one of their’s and the World Superbike paddock’s most memorable achievements coming with Karl Harris, claiming the 1999 European Superstock title at Assen.
