
WSBK: Ten Kate set to make sensational return to the grid
World Superbike Team Ten Kate Racing have declared they will make a sensational return to the championship after previously saying they were unable to race this season due to a split with long term partners HRC after over a decade together.
No riders have yet been announced by the Nieuwleusen based Dutch team but they have said they will “definitely be back on track very soon” WSBK championship website reports.
Ten Kate Racing’s history has seen them previously win one World Superbike and nine World Supersport championships, an official announcement about which riders and manufacturer the team will be working with will be made at the Assen round, although the team have been linked with former MotoGP rider Loris Baz and with Yamaha which already supplies four bikes, although some eyeing Suzuki as a potential candidate for the team and to make a WSBK comeback.
